Please help logarithms assignment due in 5 hours!!!?

A) If log 2 = 0.3010 and log 3 = 0.4771 determine the approximate numeric value


1)log 1.5


2)log ( ^4, square root 3)








B) Expand using log laws:


1) log (3 times ^4 square root n) divide that by y squared


2) log 2x+3 divide that by 6(2x-1)x





C) Express as a single log : 2 log base 1/ 3, x ^4 and y ^2 - log base 1/3, x - 3log base1/3 y

I would like to help on all but I can't decipher your notation....A 1) is log 3 - log 2....B2) I assume you mean log of the quotient [2x + 3 ] / [ 6 (2x-1)(x)]...in that case....log [2x+3] - log [6] - log[2x-1] - log [x]....what does ^4 sqrt 3 mean???...and is C) 2 log{base 1/3} [x^4 y^2] - log{base 1/3} [ x ] - 3 log{base 1/3} [y] ???? if so ...log{base 1/3} [ x^8 y^4 /([x] [y^3])]..= log {base 1/3} [ x^7 y ]...
