Format Local Drive (C:)?

Hi, My name is Ben. We got a new laptop from dell and did the Express to Windows Vista thing. We are going to install it on (1 Desktop) and (1 Laptop). And i know that i did windows vista rc1. Im running it right now with 10GB on my hard drive. I want to format it before i get windows vista in the mail next year. But i dont know if the windows vista disc will format my drive. If it dont i will take out the disc and boot up the pc. And go to my computer and and press format local disk (c:).. I was thinking about putting windows xp on t'ill next year but it did not work out. I was thinking about takeing out my 40W computer sound system and replace it with a 400W RCA Sound system but the cord was not that long to get to the pc.. Thanks for your help.

Format Local Drive (C:)?
in all windows you can formate drive in which you are going to install your new window.
Reply:ok what's the question
Reply:install windows xp now

it lets u format the drive before you install XP

wen u ll put vista, just choose to upgrade then

and if u wanna format den (and dere is no option(which there will be but just incase), install XP again, and upgrade
Reply:Window vista installtion is much similar like windows xp and very much user friendly. U can choose to format the c: and install new windows on it but before boot the system from visa CD.
