Well, first off, you're using loaded terms - I wouldn't describe my beliefs as "welfare state," "radical" feminism, or "P.C. attitudes" (though if you catch me in the right mood, I might admit to dabbling in a little socialism now and again), but I understand why you might use those terms - they are diametrically opposed to your beliefs, so you see them in a negative light.
But, to answer your question without getting into complicated redefinitions, or lengthy explainations of political and economic theory, we believe what we believe because they express our philosophies and desires for the kind of society we want to live in. Much as yours express your philosophies and desires, but would be unliveable for me.
Does that help?
Is this the ultimate in left-wing P.C. hoolabaloo?
If you want to answer somebody's question, ANSWER THEIR QUESTION!!!!!!
It's not rocket science.
Reply:I don't understand what you are asking.
But I think , and I mean think, you are saying that you feel that people on this forum are "PC" and "liberal" and "left wing" and that you feel you have a different opinion which should be respected.
Well, since right wing and human respect do not go together in any way I will take your comments with a grain of salt.
If you mean what you say, then ignore anything that does not "ditto" what you feel.
Or do what right wing people do best: find a way to get other people who feel like you to get the "PC" and "left wing" people off of Yahoo! Answers.
We will be waiting.
