How to delete additional identity created in outlook express where password has been forgotten?

I added one more identity in outlook express in my wfes name. After some time i had forgotten the password and hence i am not able to delete it. Why have an item in P C which could not be used?

Reply:Unless you know the password, you cannot delete the identity, you can make a new one, however (without a password) and start over, though:





File -%26gt; Identities -%26gt; Manage Identities -%26gt; Add





Name the new identitiy, switch to the new one, and reenter the email information...





The only way to get rid of the password protected identity is the following:


1. restore your computer to an earlier time, before you added it


2. reinstall OE (microsoft website for more info)


3. remember the password - you can try as many times as you want.





You're very limited when you cannot remember the password... hope that helps.
