im using a online tutorial to learn how to program games with c++ and it tells me i need to have the allegro library. so i downloaded it but i dont know how to put it in my compiler. how do i get it to work?

you need to add the files to the project you are working on....
in the project explorer right click MyProject then choose Add files...
