The melting point of gold is 1064°C. Express this temperature in degrees Fahrenheit and kelvins.
Physics word problem help please!?
To convert from Centigrade to Fahrenheit, use the formula
F = (9/5)*C + 32
So, to convert 1064 C,
F = (9/5)*1064 + 32
= 1947.2 F
To convert Centigrade to Kelvin, the formula is
K = 273 + C
so 1064 C in the Kelvin scale is
K = 273 + 1064 = 1337

omg get over it!
he has!
Reply:Ok, he has a new girlfriend so you and him are over, I'm sorry to say. Are you sure you're in love with your ex? Or perhaps you are just remembering the good times you two had instead of the bad? He is your ex for a reason you know. You had your turn and he moved on it looks like. Do you try to break them up, no because how will you look? It's too late to express your feelings because you will just look desperate, so none of the above. You have to try and shake him out of your head and start to heal from this. There is someone else out there for you.
Reply:def. not a! if u kno u love him n there's a chance he might still luv u, then girl go get ur man! so i gues c is ur best bet. tryna break em up will do u no favours if u dont end with him... but i gues sometimes u gotta play dirrty, lol. stil, that aint the right way2 go about it, if he loves u an wants to be with u too, he'l end it properly, without u involving urself in their business. best of luck...

Professional florists realize the primary motivation for the purchase of flowers is to?
A. spend money
B. beautify commercial environments
C. express emotion
D. meet other people
Professional florists realize the primary motivation for the purchase of flowers is to?
It has to be C, though, I would have said B, except that I purchase flowers to beautify my personal environment.
Reply:I think that the primary motivation for the purchase of flowers is a combination of expressing emotion and following cultural customs. The primary times people buy flowers is on holidays (i.e. Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Memorial Day), for events (prom, weddings, funerals) and for the emotional payoff (on a date, a plea for forgiveness, or "just because").
Reply:I'll go with B and C and to achieve this, some people dont care much about A and florists know this (besides, plants and flowers are $$ to cultivate and preserve)

UCC Article 2?
Just Wondering if anyone can Help me with this Business Law question? I don’t even understand it!
With regard to the interpretation of a contract that falls within Article 2 of the UCC, what priority is given to each of the following items?
A) Course of Dealing
B) Usage of Trade
C) Express Terms
D) Course of performance
UCC Article 2?
§ 1-303. Course of Performance, Course of Dealing, and Usage of Trade.
(a) A "course of performance" is a sequence of conduct between the parties to a particular transaction that exists if: (1) the agreement of the parties with respect to the transaction involves repeated occasions for performance by a party; and (2) the other party, with knowledge of the nature of the performance and opportunity for objection to it, accepts the performance or acquiesces in it without objection.
(b) A "course of dealing" is a sequence of conduct concerning previous transactions between the parties to a particular transaction that is fairly to be regarded as establishing a common basis of understanding for interpreting their expressions and other conduct.
(c) A "usage of trade" is any practice or method of dealing having such regularity of observance in a place, vocation, or trade as to justify an expectation that it will be observed with respect to the transaction in question. The existence and scope of such a usage must be proved as facts. If it is established that such a usage is embodied in a trade code or similar record, the interpretation of the record is a question of law.
(d) A course of performance or course of dealing between the parties or usage of trade in the vocation or trade in which they are engaged or of which they are or should be aware is relevant in ascertaining the meaning of the parties' agreement, may give particular meaning to specific terms of the agreement, and may supplement or qualify the terms of the agreement. A usage of trade applicable in the place in which part of the performance under the agreement is to occur may be so utilized as to that part of the performance.
(e) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (f), the express terms of an agreement and any applicable course of performance, course of dealing, or usage of trade must be construed whenever reasonable as consistent with each other. If such a construction is unreasonable: (1) express terms prevail over course of performance, course of dealing, and usage of trade; (2) course of performance prevails over course of dealing and usage of trade; and (3) course of dealing prevails over usage of trade.
(f) Subject to Section 2-209, a course of performance is relevant to show a waiver or modification of any term inconsistent with the course of performance.
(g) Evidence of a relevant usage of trade offered by one party is not admissible unless that party has given the other party notice that the court finds sufficient to prevent unfair surprise to the other party.

1. Given the complex numbers z1 = 2 − i and z2 = 1 + i.
(a) Find z3 = z1 z2.
(b) Find z4 = z1/z2
.(note zk is z subscript k and rk is r subscript k)
(c) Express each zk in polar form zk = rk (cos θk + i sin θk)
; − π%26lt; θk ≤ π for k = 1, 2, 3 and 4.
(d) (i) Show r3 = r1 r2.
(ii) Show r4 = r1/r2
.
(iii) Show θ3 = θ1 + θ2.
(iv) Show θ4 = θ1 − θ2.
(e) Plot the complex numbers zk for k = 1, 2, 3 and 4 in the complex plane.
1. Given the complex numbers z1 = 2 − i and z2 = 1 + i.?
z1 = 2 − i
z2 = 1 + i
z3= 2*1+2i -i -i^2= 3+i
z4 = (2-i)(1-i)/(1+i)^2 = (1-3i)/(2)
You should be able to work out the rest.
r^2= x^2+y^2
tan(theta) = y/x
r = |x+yi| sqrt(x^2+y^2)
Reply:Use properties of complex numbers to solve this problem.
(a) z3=(2-i)(1+i)=3+i
(b) z4=(2-i)/(1+i)=(1/2)(1-3i)
(c) Find the absolute value of the complex vector and the angle.
The rest of the problems should be easy.

Please help logarithms assignment due in 5 hours!!!?
A) If log 2 = 0.3010 and log 3 = 0.4771 determine the approximate numeric value
1)log 1.5
2)log ( ^4, square root 3)
B) Expand using log laws:
1) log (3 times ^4 square root n) divide that by y squared
2) log 2x+3 divide that by 6(2x-1)x
C) Express as a single log : 2 log base 1/ 3, x ^4 and y ^2 - log base 1/3, x - 3log base1/3 y
any help will be fine thank you !!
Please help logarithms assignment due in 5 hours!!!?
I would like to help on all but I can't decipher your notation....A 1) is log 3 - log 2....B2) I assume you mean log of the quotient [2x + 3 ] / [ 6 (2x-1)(x)]...in that case....log [2x+3] - log [6] - log[2x-1] - log [x]....what does ^4 sqrt 3 mean???...and is C) 2 log{base 1/3} [x^4 y^2] - log{base 1/3} [ x ] - 3 log{base 1/3} [y] ???? if so ...log{base 1/3} [ x^8 y^4 /([x] [y^3])]..= log {base 1/3} [ x^7 y ]...
