How do I get outlook express on to my new Dell P C and what will it cost me to buy.?

Outlook is part of the Microsoft Office program. It is NOT free, but I agree that it's not the safest way to get your email.

It's safer to get your email via Yahoo, AOL, MSN etc. servers because the email programs with these companies scan emails for viruses. If infected email gets into Outlook, it's not on an ISP server site anymore...it's on your computer!

But if you really want Outlook, buy the Student version of Office. It's 149.99 plus tax here, and I'm in Ohio.

Really not such a thing anymore, its Windows Live Mail, and thats free to everyone on a windows machine. Do a good old google search...

PS a note to everyone else who answered...

Outlook Express / Windows Live Mail (Outlook Express' New Name) is free.

Outlook XP, 2003, 2007 etc is not free.
Reply:If you're smart, you won't. Outlook Express is a VERY unsafe program. Instead, get Mozilla Thunderbird for FREE.
Reply:It is free, you just have to set it up. Go on the www.microsoft.com website and it may tell you on there.

good luck.
